NDCDE is pleased to share that it has entered into a new partnership with Bismarck State College to offer dual credit cybersecurity courses to North Dakota students.

NDCDE is again accepting out-of-state enrollments in elementary courses. Out-of-state students enrolled in the NDCDE diploma program may also continue registering for classes.

The DLC is thrilled to announce Ms. Jessica Enderson as the recipient of the 2024 Individual Excellence in Digital Learning Award. This award recognizes someone who has achieved an exceptional achievement in K-12 digital learning for her exemplary implementation of competency-based education (CBE) for the North Dakota Center for Distance Education (NDCDE) in the 2022-2023 school year.

With new state legislation requiring North Dakota schools to offer cybersecurity and computer science courses in grades K-12 taking effect on August 1, 2023, NDCDE has a menu of courses available to assist schools in meeting these requirements. Below is a list of these courses:

The NDCDE June-July newsletter is now available. In it, we ask you to complete our virtual school choice and cybersecurity needs assessment survey (the deadline for this has been extended to Monday, July 17 at noon), highlight our new cybersecurity courses for fall, provide information on our new adjunct pool, and recognize new and retiring staff.
