The North Dakota Center for Distance Education is continuing its June student recognitions by announcing the recipients of the 2026 NDCDE Student Awards.
Presented once each year, the Student Awards are teacher-nominated honors recognizing students who stood out for their resilience, determination, and unique educational journeys. This year’s awards include the Resilience Award, which honors a student who overcame hardship or adversity to continue their education, and the Pathfinder Award, which recognizes students who used online learning to pursue a passion, explore career-focused learning, or follow a unique academic path.
The 2026 Resilience Award recipient is Connor Wahlund.
The 2026 Pathfinder Award recipients are Alice Anderson, Chloe Foster, Anthony Kram, and Rowdy Mott.
“These students represent the heart of online learning,” said Dr. Alyssa Martin, NDCDE State Director. “Their stories show that flexible, high-quality learning opportunities can help students overcome challenges, pursue their interests, and build meaningful paths toward the future.”
NDCDE congratulates each of this year’s recipients and thanks the teachers who nominated students for this special recognition.
